Plan Types

How do plans work?

Komment offers tiered plans, with higher-tier plans providing increased quotas and access to advanced features to support growing teams and complex documentation needs.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of how our plans work, so you can find the best fit for your workflow:

Connecting repositories

You can connect an unlimited number of repositories/projects to Komment regardless of your user plan. This doesn’t grant anyone access to your repository — only the documentation created as part of your wiki is visible to other users.

Public and private wikis

By default, wikis you generate from your repositories are publicly visible to other Komment users. You can also browse wikis generated by other users in a public library.

If you prefer, you can set your wikis to private.

  • The number of wikis you can set as private depends on your plan.
  • Higher-tier plans allow you to toggle more wikis as private.

Wiki page quota

Each page you create inside a wiki is deducted from your monthly page quota.

  • The wiki page quota is shared across all your wikis.
  • The quota varies by plan, with higher-tier plans offering more page allowances to accommodate bigger projects.

What plan options are available?

All new users are automatically enrolled in the free plan upon sign-up. This is forever free and does not require a credit card to sign up. The plan model of the free plan is the same as paid plans and resets on a monthly basis.

Paid plans offer increasingly higher usage quotas and access to advanced features. All paid plans start with a no-commitment 30-day trial period, giving you ample time to test the features before making a purchase.
